Location. The Occidental Grand Punta Cana All Inclusive, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is located along the turquoise waters of the Caribbean on Playa B�varo. A shopping center stands adjacent to the resort and Manati Park, an eco park that features dolphin encounters, is located nearby.
Hotel Features. The resort hosts several restaurants and bars including fine Mexican dining at La Hacienda. French crepes are served at Le Creperia and Asian cuisine is prepared by the chefs at D'Oriental. High speed Internet access, a business center and ample event space are offered on site. Recreational amenities include three lagoon style outdoor pools, one that is the scene of lively daytime activities, a second that promotes a quiet atmosphere and contains two spa tubs and a swim up bar, and a third pool designed for children. A fitness center offers cardiovascular and strength training equipment while the health and beauty spa specializes in massage, body treatments and hair and nail care. On site water sports include kayaking, windsurfing, water polo, snorkeling and tennis. Children are invited to join supervised activities, and the resort's entertainment staff presents evening theater shows appropriate for both children and adults. Gaming excitement awaits at the resort's casino while practical needs are addressed at the on site grocery and laundry facility.
Guestrooms. This property features 877 guestrooms with expansive ocean , garden or pool view balconies, terra cotta tile floors, light toned, rustic furnishings and bright, floral fabrics. Blue and white tile bathrooms contain tub/shower combinations. Minibars are stocked with soft drinks and complimentary bottled water. All accommodations include satellite television and safe deposit boxes. This resort purifies its water supply. The property does not have elevators.
