A modern, six storey city centre hotel, the Comfort Hotel an der Oper is located opposite the Opera House in Berlin's Charlottenburg district, a kilometre from the shops and bars of the Kurf�rstendamm and two kilometres from the Zoological Gardens and Tiergarten Park. Berlin Tegel Airport is six kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

Getting there. From the airport, catch bus X9 towards the Zoologischer Garten and get off at Ernst Reuther Platz. Change to the underground line U2, heading in the direction of Ruhleben, and alight at Deutsche Oper. Leave the station via the exit on the left and the hotel is straight ahead. Alternatively, taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal, a typical fare to the hotel costing 15 18 EUR.
