The Renaissance Riessersee Hotel is a modern chalet style hotel set on the Bavarian Alps on the banks of Lake Riessersee, located 90 kilometres south of Munich. The 155 guestrooms feature Bavarian country style decor in light colours with simple furnishings. The hotel offers four dining options, which all offer views across the area; Galerie Restaurant serves international and regional dishes over three levels with views of the Garmisch valley; Hotel Biergarten is a typical Bavarian beer garden with views of the Alpspitze; Restaurant Sommergarten offers regional and international dishes and looks out over the lake; Alter Bob's informal restaurant serves international favourites and is open for lunch and dinner.
