Location. The modern Great Southern Dublin Airport hotel is located in Dublin, Ireland, within 200 metres of Dublin International Airport (DUB). The hotel is 15 kilometres from Dublin city centre. Aircoach runs between the airport and city 24 hours a day.
Hotel Features. Built in 1998, the Great Southern Dublin Airport hotel is a six storey yellow and white building with complimentary parking and airport shuttle bus. The front entrance leads to a high ceilinged lobby area with cream tiled floors, mirrors and plants, large blue and brown sofas, paintings and rugs.
Potters Restaurant at the Great Southern Dublin Airport hotel serves a varied menu, and has a contemporary feel with white, cream and red decor, and paintings of famous Irish actors. Getting there. There is a complimentary airport shuttle 24 hours.
Getting around. Dublin city centre and Temple Bar's cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublin's extensive double decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield.
