Location. Hidden in the capital of the historical state of Oaxaca, the Hacienda Los Laureles is seven kilometers from the Xoxocotlan International Airport. Oaxaca itself is a city declared the cultural center for the humanities and is 13 kilometers from the Monte Alban pyramids.
Hotel Features. The hacienda style Hacienda Los Laureles hotel is surrounded by lush tropical gardens where a quiet terrace and private gardens showcase views of the Oaxaca mountains. The hotel features a spa tub area adjacent the pool area, a jogging track and gymnasium. Hotel spa services include massage rooms and temazcal purification rituals. Event spaces include two oversized meeting rooms, with a business center and library to complement them. Babysitting services, complimentary newspapers and private parking are also provided.
Restaurant and bar services include Mexican and international fare, with a special emphasis on the traditional Oaxacan food. The Cypress indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar facilities are set in a typical Mexican style atmosphere. Private dining is offered on a patio overlooking the garden and is served on a special dining table complete with cantera base and glass top surface specifically designed for larger groups.
Guestrooms. This hotel offers guests 25 guestrooms and suites. Unique furnishings include ironwork beds, rugs forged by local artisans and work areas with desks. Rooms are equipped with satellite television, wireless Internet and telephones that provide direct access for national and international calls. All rooms feature ceiling fans and minibars, with select units including spa tubs. Nightly turndown service is provided upon request, complimentary coffee service is offered mornings and room service is available during select hours. Private baths feature cultured marble sinks and vanities, makeup mirrors, complimentary toiletries and bathrobes.
