Location. The Citymar Gran Hotel is housed in a seven storey block featuring contemporary architecture and located in the centre of Almeria. It is just 100 metres from the harbour and the 16th century Almeria Cathedral is 300 metres from the hotel. Almeria railway station is 600 metres away, and Almeria Airport (LEI) is eight kilometres distance, an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
Hotel Features.The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool set in gardens and a gym with fitness equipment. The air conditioned public areas have high speed Internet connections, and staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer currency exchange. There is a room service menu, and the hotel has a cafe serving a range of snacks, drinks and coffees. Garage parking is available (surcharge).

Expert Tip. Climb the hill behind the town to the Alcazaba Fortress, 900 metres from the hotel. The effort required is more than repaid by the superb views. The Fortress was originally built by Abd er Rahm�n III in the 10th century.
