The Sol Princesa Dacil is a modern, 15 storey hotel overlooking the sea, 200 metres from the Playa de los Cristianos Beach. The 364 guestrooms feature simple, functional decor, wood furniture and tiled floors. All include balconies, direct dial phones, cable television, safes and wake up calls. Bathrooms have bidets. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
The hotel's main restaurant serves a buffet choice of international cuisine and themed events, while the Pool Bar offers a choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, as well as light snacks and tapas dishes. There is also an English Pub offering a wide choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Guests can swim in the pool, order cocktails from the bar, and join in the organised activities including aerobics, water sports, tennis and golf. Children can join a supervised Mini Club, and there are shows, parties, discos and other entertainment programmes in the evenings. Practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk, currency exchange, free parking and an Internet access point (surcharge).The hotel's location means that guests are 20 kilometres away from the Loro Parque zoo, 35 kilometres to the Orotava Botanical Gardens, and 40 kilometres to the Playa Jardin where there is a volcanic black sand beach. Tenerife Reina Sofia South Airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

Taxis are readily available from the airport arrivals terminal, and cost approximately 20 25 EUR to the hotel. The town centre and the beaches of Arona can be easily explored on foot or bicycle. Taxis on the island also are relatively cheap, and there is a bus network which serves the main areas. Others may like to hire a car to fully explore the surrounding countryside.
