The Acorn Sumba is a sea facing, modern five storey hotel set on the beach in a tranquil part of Cala Millor, 59 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca Airport. The hotel's 280 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated with floral prints and extend to balconies with sea views. All offer cable television, direct dial phones, minibars and safes. Bathrooms include showers, bidets and complimentary toiletries.
The poolside terrace is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers where guests can sunbathe while their children play in the large pool or kids' splash pool. Meals can be enjoyed at the buffet style restaurant, light lunches can be purchased at the poolside snack bar, and in the evenings the lobby bar is ideal for mingling over drinks. The hotel offers a varied entertainment programme for children, who can also entertain themselves with video games in the arcade room. Internet kiosks provide 24 hour access and the satellite television lounge enables guests to catch up with the news. Energetic guests can exercise in the fitness centre, which is also equipped with a sauna, hot tub and heated indoor pool. The hotel also offers a variety of activities including boules, table tennis, billiards, archery and water sports. Guests can play tennis on the clay courts located about 100 metres away from the hotel, and golfers will find two courses within five kilometres away. The hotel also has an Acorn Sports Centre, where scuba diving and bicycle hire are offered. Staff at the concierge desk can provide assistance with bookings, exchange currency and answer questions. The beach is located 50 metres from the hotel, and tourists to the area can visit sights such as the ancient watchtowers at Capdepera, the Coves del Drach and the Coves d'Arta, all within ten kilometres. Palma de Mallorca Airport is 59 kilometres and an approximate driving time of an hour away.
