A large, modern property situated in a colonial style resort complex overlooking the Atlantic, the Valentin Sancti Petri Hotel lies opposite the Playa de Barrosa beach, 17 kilometres from Cadiz. The 549 guestrooms are decorated in warm cream shades with co ordinated tan fabrics and dark wood furniture and fittings. All open on to balconies and include minibars, direct dial telephones and cable television. The half board room rate includes buffet breakfast and dinner.
The hotel offers two outdoor pools set in a large, tree fringed terrace area equipped with sun loungers and parasols, with a poolside snack bar on hand for refreshments. Two dedicated kids' pools are provided for younger guests, alongside a games room and mini club. Active guests can make use of the multi sports court and fully equipped gym, and billiards, table tennis and archery are also available. The wellness centre and spa area offers an indoor heated pool, a sauna, solarium, spa tub and Turkish bath, and guests can unwind with massage and hydro massage treatments. Diners can choose from three buffet restaurants and an � la carte restaurant specialising in Andalusian cookery. In the evening, guests can unwind in the lounge bar and enjoy the hotel's live entertainment programme. The 2,000 square metre conference centre can accommodate business or social events of up to 1,900 people. Multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can book tours and offer advice on sightseeing opportunities in the surrounding area. Motorists will find complimentary parking facilities on site. The Playa de Barrosa beach, opposite the hotel offers eight kilometres of fine white sand and a variety of water sports, while La Marina Astronomic Observatory, the Plaza de la Iglesia and Suazo Bridge are all within ten kilometres of the hotel. Jerez de la Frontera Airport is 40 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.

A taxi is the recommended means of getting to the hotel from the airport. A taxi to Jerez bus station will cost approximately 14 EUR, from where buses serve many destinations along the Costa de la Luz. Bicycles can be hired from the hotel and are useful for exploring the immediate area, while a car is recommended for longer journeys.
