The NH Imperial Playa is a modern high rise property set on Playa Las Canteras beach and located within one kilometre of the harbour and the shopping centre. The 142 guestrooms are decorated in soft neutrals with sleek wood furnishings. All include air conditioning, Internet connections, satellite television with pay movies, telephones, hair dryers, and minibars.

Taxis are available outside the Arrivals areas. There are frequent bus services between the airport and the capital, as well as other destinations on the island. Bus number 60 runs to Las Palmas for Parque de San Catalina and Parque de San Telmo. Bus number 66 runs to Faro de Maspalomas. Bus services depart from outside the Arrivals halls of zones A and C.
From the airport, take highway 1 in the direction of Las Palmas. Once in Las Palmas head for El Puerto and La Isleta headquarters to reach the hotel.
