Location. Set in a classic renovated madrile�o building, Suites 33 is a small, contemporary townhouse hotel located 100 metres from Gran Via. It is within 500 metres of several of Madrid's top attractions, including the Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol. Madrid Barajas Airport is 12 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

Hotel Features.The hotel's front desk is open round the clock, and there is a tour desk where guests can receive advice on sightseeing and city excursions, and exchange currency. All public areas of the hotel are air conditioned, and wireless Internet access is available throughout the property. Guests with cars can use parking facilities nearby.

Guestrooms. The 33 guestrooms, located on five floors and accessible by lift, feature sleek, contemporary decor with parquet flooring, dark wood panelling, modern furniture and bold coloured fabrics. All guestrooms include air conditioning, minibars, hair dryers, satellite television and wireless Internet access.

Expert Tip. Plaza Mayor, 700 metres from the hotel, is a historical and architectural treasure that's easy to overlook. Set back from the street, this 17th century arcaded square stages outdoor theatre and music during the summer, a book fair in autumn, and a seasonal market at Christmas. Fine tapas bars can be found in the close network of streets around the square.

Getting there.A metro train from the airport to the hotel will take 30 40 minutes and cost approximately 1 EUR per person. Take line 8 to Neuvos Ministerios, change there on to line 10 and travel four stops to Plaza de Espa�a, 200 metres from the hotel. A blue airport bus departs every 15 minutes for the underground bus terminal at Plaza de Col�n, two kilometres from the hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost approximately 25 EUR. Madrid's extensive metro and public bus systems provide an efficient and cheap way of getting around the city. Taxis are moderately priced and can be hailed in the street.

Driving directions.From the airport take the N 2 Castellana for Alcala Street, Gran Via and Plaza de Espa�a.
