The Samos is a modern resort hotel built in 1991 and set the centre of the lively Mallorcan town of Magaluf, 250 metres from a sandy beach. The 417 guestrooms over nine floors have light decor, bright fabrics and functional furnishings including desks and feature glass doors leading to balconies. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, direct dial phones and safes. Ensuite bathrooms also come with bidets and shower and tub combinations.
The hotel pool is landscaped with attractive greenery and there is also a children's pool as well as a kids' club. A nightly programme of entertainment is also on offer. There are complimentary newspapers in the lobby and high speed Internet access is available in the air conditioned public areas. Restaurant Samos features marbled floors and walls and serves an international buffet while the Snack Bar has American style decor and serves snacks and a wide range of drinks. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can help with tour information. The Western Water Park is 900 metres from the hotel and Golf Fantasia, a miniature golf course, is two kilometres away. Palma de Mallorca Airport is 25 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Taxis leave from outside Door D on the Arrivals floor and the typical fare to the hotel is 30 EUR. Bus no. 17 leaves the airport every 20 minutes running to Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca. There is a bus stop in front of the multi storey car park, outside Door D of the Arrivals floor, and there is a bus stop outside the Check in floor. From Palma, take bus numbers 102, 103, 104, 105 or 106 to stop in Magalluf.
