Built in the 1970s, the Sol Guadalupe is a modern resort hotel situated 200 metres from the beach in the commercial district of Magalluf. This ten storey hotel features 493 guestrooms, all of which include beige and blue decor and modern furnishings. All rooms have air conditioning, cable television, direct dial phones, safes and bathrooms with shower/tub combinations complimentary toiletries.
Guests can swim in the outdoor pool and sip cocktails at the poolside bar, and enjoy a programme of live entertainment throughout the day and into the night. The Sol Guadalupe Restaurant offers a self service buffet with show cooking, theme nights and an Italian Corner serving pizza and pasta, in a bright, modern setting with dark wood furnishings. The Salon Bar serves snacks and drinks in a relaxed, modern ambience. The hotel also houses a public lounge, a TV room and a games room with pool and ping pong tables, and the garden features a play area and separate pool for kids. The hotel offers facilities for archery, water polo, tai chi, yoga and French bowls. Three conference rooms provide business and banqueting facilities for up to 70 people. Practical amenities include currency exchange, laundry and dry cleaning services and an Internet corner (surcharge). Motorists will find parking facilities available on site (surcharge). A range of water sports are available at the beach, 200 metres away, and the nearest golf course is one kilometre from the hotel. Local attractions include the Aquapark, one kilometre away, and Marineland, which is eight kilometres from the hotel. Palma de Mallorca Airport is 26 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.
