The Sol Jamaica is a modern hotel situated in the centre of the entertainment and shopping area of Magaluf, 50 metres from the beach, and 17 kilometres from Palma. The 308 guestrooms are spread over nine floors and have modern decor in light colours with light wood furnishings. All guestrooms open onto balconies and include direct dial phones and desks.
Guests can relax by the outdoor pool with a drink from the bar, while children splash in the kids' pool. A range of activities is on offer including archery, keep fit, and table tennis. At the restaurant diners can choose dishes from an extensive buffet selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner; all served in a relaxed and informal, non smoking environment. After dinner, guests can enjoy live music and entertainment, use the Internet corner, or visit the reading or cards room. The hotel also has a Playstation. Multilingual staff are on hand at the 24 hour front desk to advise on local amenities and attractions. Guests can spend lazy days on the beach 50 metres away, or visit the Aqualand water park one kilometre away. The ancient village of Valldemosa is 20 kilometres from the hotel. Mallorca Son Sant Joan Airport is 25 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
