Location. The Villas Salobre are located between the mountains and the sea, five kilometres from Maspalomas beach on Gran Canaria, Spain. The shops, discos, and beaches of the resort of Puerto Rico are nine kilometres from the residence.
Hotel Features. Comprising 40 duplexes, the Villas Salobre complex is set amid landscaped grounds next to the Salobre golf resort. The complex features an outdoor swimming pool and solarium. A shuttle bus service to the beach operates daily. Groceries and fresh bread are available from the small onsite shop. The reception desk offers a DVD library service. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site. A valet parking service is also offered.
The Villas Salobre complex does not have its own restaurant, but the hotel and clubhouse at the adjacent golf resort offer a range of dining options. A private chef can be hired to prepare in villa meals.

Guestrooms. The 40 air conditioned villas incorporate full kitchen facilities, terraces, and lounges. Decor is contemporary and minimal, characterised by glass, steel, and cool modern colours. All offer complimentary Internet connections, satellite television, DVD players, and complimentary daily newspapers. Bathrooms include robes and complimentary toiletries. Guests are greeted with welcome packages, which include Iberian sausage, cheese, milk, bread, honey, chocolates, and wine. Some villas feature private spa pools.

From Las Palmas Airport (LPA):
Distance to the Villas Salobre is 33 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals building. A taxi is likely to cost between 35 EUR and 45 EUR. The number 66 bus runs to south Gran Canaria and terminates in Maspalomas. Buses are available in Zones A and C outside the airport terminal. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Cheap, reliable buses operate between the resorts and main towns, with frequent services to and from Puerto Rico, Playa del Ingles, Las Palmas and Maspalomas. Metered taxis are available throughout the island. Hiring a car is useful for visiting the surrounding countryside.
