The Hotel Carabela is a modern resort on Palmira Beach in the tranquil bay of Paguera, 20 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca. The hotel features 42 guestrooms, all of which have a simple Mediterranean style decor and open onto balconies. All include air conditioning, satellite television, safes, hair dryers, and direct dial phones.
In the Playa Bar, snack food, local wines and sangria are served in a relaxed setting with views of the beach, while cocktails and sangria are offered in a Salon Bulevar, which overlooks the boulevard. The ground floor of the hotel offers guests the use of hot tubs as well as direct access to the beach, while the roof terrace has sun beds and sea views. Guests can indulge themselves in the massage treatment room, browse the hotel shop for souvenirs and postcards, and check email using high speed Internet facilities. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can advise on local sightseeing hotspots as well as making restaurant reservations and booking excursions. Nearby attractions include the Andratx market seven kilometres away, and Palma itself, a city full of charming architecture and busy restaurants and bars, 20 kilometres from the hotel. Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is 30 kilometres away, around 30 minutes by car.

The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is by taxi or hired car. From the airport drive towards Palma, turn onto Via de Cintura and follow in direction of Andratx. Pass Palmanova and Santa Ponsa, then at Paguera take the third exit, turn right at the next roundabout and turn left at the next roundabout onto Paguera's Boulevard, where the hotel is located.
