Location. The Aparthotel Comtat Sant Jordi is a modern resort complex situated 150 metres from a sandy beach with access to the picturesque cove of La Cala de la Bella Dona, and 700 metres from the centre of Platja d'Aro. Girona Costa Brava Airport is 20 kilometres away and can be reached in around 25 minutes by car.
Hotel Features. The resort offers two outdoor pools, including one for children, and a poolside bar. A playground and games room are provided for younger guests, along with a kids' club, which runs from mid June to mid September. The hotel also houses a TV room with a wide screen television, and offers an evening entertainment programme. Other amenities include laundry facilities, public Internet access (surcharge) and a concierge on hand to offer sightseeing advice. Parking is available for around �9 per day.
The Aparthotel Comtat Sant Jordi houses a buffet restaurant that offers panoramic views of the resort and serves a wide variety of international dishes. The restaurant extends to a caf� bar with terrace seating.
Guestrooms. The 167 air conditioned apartments are located on two floors. All extend to balconies or terraces and include bedrooms, sitting/dining areas with sofabeds, kitchenettes with refrigerators and bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. Amenities include cable television, telephones, Internet connections (surcharge) and safes (surcharge).
Expert Tip. Girona, 37 kilometres away, is renowned for its Moorish and Gothic architecture. The city's attractions include the Passeig Arqueol�gic, situated opposite the Arab baths. Its stairs lead to the gardens at the foot of the city ramparts, and a promenade offers views of the Ter valley.

Getting there. Four bus routes service the airport, including one that runs hourly to Girona city centre and takes around 25 minutes. Taxis are also available outside the terminal.
