The Hotel Lucana is a nine storey building with modern d�cor, four kilometers from Gran Canaria's capital, Las Palmas. The 182 air conditioned guestrooms have light contemporary furnishings with biege and green decor and balconies overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. All rooms feature cable television, minibars and safes. Room rates are half board, including buffet breakfast and lunch or dinner.
The hotel's main restaurant and saloon bar is open for dinner, and serves typical Canarian dishes in a colorful, contemporary setting with an informal atmosphere. Show cooking takes place every Friday, and dinner is served between 6PM and 9PM daily. The swimming pool bar offers an international buffet breakfast and lunch. Of the three swimming pools, one is heated and has a jetted tub and another is for children. Guests can keep fit in the sun with nearby water sports such as surfing, scuba diving, parasailing and windsurfing, or explore the island by bicycle, scooter or on horseback. The hotel also has floodlit tennis courts for some evening exercise. Families can appreciate the babysitting and childcare services. The hotel is surrounded by attractions, including the Holiday World Park, Acuatic Park and Sioux City, both two kilometers away. Las Palmas Airport is 20 kilometers away; taxis line up outside the main arrivals hall.
