The Hotel Atalaya is a large modern property comprised of two four story buildings set extensive lush gardens, standing above Taoro Park, 800 meters from Puerto de la Cruz center. All 182 air conditioned rooms have a light d�cor with wood furniture and either carpeted or parquet floors. All feature balconies with views of the town and coast or gardens and are equipped with cable television and minibars. Superior rooms also include bathrobes and provide bottles of wine, fruit and welcome gifts upon arrival. The half board option includes buffet breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant (or a la carte if in the superior room type).

The hotel offers two restaurants, a poolside snack bar and a piano bar as well as room service. Guests can relax on loungers around the large heated swimming pool and children's pool and enjoy the range of recreational facilities including floodlit tennis court, French bowls, table tennis, archery, darts, volley ball, garden chess and shuffleboard. There is a daily activities and entertainment program. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities including a hairdresser and beauty salon, sauna, reading and games room. For those who want to keep in touch, there is an Internet corner, and there is also a conference room that can hold up to 140 people. A courtesy shuttle runs to the town center (except Sundays). The hotel is just 200 meters from the Taoro Casino and Congress Center, while families are two kilometers from Loro Parque zoo. The hotel is approximately 21 kilometers, a 25 minute drive, from Tenerife North Airport.

Driving Directions

Regular bus services run from the airport to Puerto de la Cruz. A taxi will cost around 25 EUR.
From North Airport take the highway TF 5 in the direction of "Puerto de la Cruz" and take exit 32 signposted "Puerto de la Cruz Martianez El Rincon". Follow the sign "Puerto de la Cruz 4.2 km" on the main road TF 31 to Puerto de la Cruz. After approximately 2km take the exit "El Botanico Parque Taoro Loro Parque" on the TF 312 and follow the sign "Parque Taoro Centro l. de Congresos". After about 1.5 km, after the fourth traffic light turn left up the hill, still signposted "Parque Taoro Centro l. de Congresos". Take the third turning on the right hand side called "Calle Inglaterra", then right into "Calle Dinamarca", approaching the hotel in approximately 200 meters.
