The Hotel Botanico is a stylish, spa hotel situated in the north of the island, surrounded by six acres of lanscaped tropical gardens with spectacular views, just 1.5 kilometers from the beach. The 252 air conditioned guestrooms have light, modern decor with colourful fabrics and light wood furniture. All rooms offer balconies, satellite television, direct dial phone, Internet access, bathrobes and slippers, safes and minibars.

Guests can cool off in one of three pools and sip drinks at the poolside bar, or pamper themselves in the Oriental Spa Garden, with facilities including beauty treatment, a sauna, steam room and hydro massage. Children can amuse themselves in the children's pool, game room or at the pool table, while guests over 16 years of age can work out in the gym. The Spa garden offers a chance to relax with some Thai Chi, or gentle yoga, while guests looking for some privacy can use the Private Spa and enjoy all of the facilities exclusively. Other practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk, concierge services, currency exchange, dry cleaning service, on site shopping and all hours room service. The hotel has many dining options: Il Pappagallo offers classical Italian cuisine served in a relaxed and informal Mediterranean setting, The Oriental serves pan Asian cuisine prepared by a team of Thai chefs, and La Parrilla serves a wide selection of char grilled meats and fresh fish, as well as traditional Canarian cuisine, in a rustic setting. Visitors are well placed to explore the city of Puerto de la Cruz with its whitewashed villas and dramatic scenery. A complimentary bus service can take guests to the nearest beach 1.5 kilometres away and the hotel is two kilometres from the Loro Parque wildlife park. Tenerife Los Rodeos North Airport is 20 kilometres (12.5 miles) away.

Botanico Adventure Academy:

The hotel provides a kid's club for children between 4 and 12 years of age, available from the 25th June until the 10th September 2007. Children have fun and learn under professional and multilingual supervision, in co operation with the Loro Parque, which involves privileged seating during animal shows and participation in workshops and games (meals and transport included). The Academy is open five days a week, with a different theme every day. Surcharges apply, depending on the dates.

Renovation notice:

The thermal circuit of the hotel's spa will be partially closed from the 10th to the 14th December 2007. This closure will not affect the cardiovascular fitness room, the massage and treatment rooms and the daily activity classes. Not all of the thermal circuit services will be closed at the same time, and only for 1 2 days each. Please contact the property directly for further information.
