The Sol Puerto Playa is a large, eight storey complex located in the attractive Puerto de la Cruz resort in the north west on the island of Tenerife. It is just 150 metres from the Playa Jardin beach. The 190 guestrooms feature bright, simple decor, functional furnishings and tiled floors. All include balconies, air conditioning, direct dial phones, cable television, dial up Internet access, safes, fireplaces, minibars, desks, bathrobes, slippers and bathroom scales. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
The hotel's main restaurant offers a choice of regional and international specialties, with themed buffet lunches and an � la carte dinner menu, in a traditional, family friendly atmosphere. The hotel's location means that guests are just 500 metres away from the Plaza del Charco, one kilometre from the Loro Parque zoo, and two kilometres from the Lagos and Playa de Martianez where seawater pools and a beach can be found. Tenerife Los Rodeos North Airport is 30 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Taxis are readily available from the Arrivals terminal, and cost approximately 20 25 EUR to the hotel. Buses also run between the airport and Puerto de la Cruz station. Taxis on the island are relatively cheap, and there is also a bus network that serves the surrounding areas and rest of the island.
Driving directions: From the airport take the North Highway and exit for Puerto del la Cruz (Pos las Arenas).
