The Hotel Neptuno is a large modern hotel situated just 200 metres from the beach, and 300 metres from the Playa Serena golf course in the Andalusian resort of Roquetas de Mar. The 107 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a simple modern style, with light wood furniture including fitted wardrobes and headboards, and carpets in neutral beige. Amenities include satellite television with international language channels, direct dial phones and minibars.
Guests can swim in the outdoor pool which has a water slide and children can play safely in the kid's pool while parents relax on the sun loungers and sunbeds. Pool towels are free of charge. The main buffet restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner, and there is also a snack bar serving tapas and drinks by the pool. The hotel offers a range of organised activities including water aerobics, group games and live music, as well as providing indoor games such as table tennis, pool and darts. Guests can make use of the small exercise room, or take advantage of a special rate at a nearby fitness centre. The hotel also offers in house beauty services including a hair salon. Practical amenities include onsite laundry service and self service launderette, parking and concierge services. Further afield, the Castillo Santa Ana fort is just three kilometres away, as is the local port. For those with families, Mario Park Water Park is seven kilometres away Almeria airport is 30 kilometres away, and the approximate driving time is 30 minutes.

Taxis are readily available from the airport terminal. Local buses run from the airport to the centre of Almeria every 30 minutes throughout the day. From the airport, take the motorway in the direction of the sea (Routas de Mar); follow signs for 'Urbanizacion Playa Serena' to arrive at the hotel complex.
