The Salamanca Plaza del Mercado is modern hotel housed in a listed historical building in the centre of Salamanca, within 500 metres of the caf�s of the Plaza Mayor and the cathedrals. Frequent underground metro services connect the airport with Madrid city centre. There are buses every hour from Madrid to Salamanca, offered by the company Auto Res. Trains also run from Madrid to Salamanca. From Madrid Barajas Airport take the A10 motorway to Madrid, then the M40 and the NVi A6 Coruna, C112 Salamanca E80 A62. In Salamanca follow signs to Centro Ciudad and Plaza Mayor.
