The Hotel Acorn Playa Santa Ponsa is a modern resort hotel situated 300 metres from a sandy beach and two kilometres from the famous Santa Ponsa Golf Club. This four floor floor hotel features 208 guestrooms. All have bright, fresh decor with tiled floors, and open onto furnished balconies. Modern amenities include direct dial phones, ceiling fans, and safes.
After breakfast, guests can relax in the sauna, or lounge by the outdoor pool with a cocktail from the poolside bar. There is a separate pool for children, who can also be kept entertained at the Cabana Club for 5 12 year olds. For older children, there is a club including activities such as mini golf, water sports, and pool competitions. The hotel also has a restaurant, and a bar with satellite television, and offers a family entertainment programme with after dinner games and competitions. Modern hotel amenities include wireless Internet access, a Playstation area, and Digicam download facilities. Golf Santa Ponsa, with its two 18 hole courses and one 9 hole course, can be found just two kilometres from the hotel. The hotel's Acorn Sport Centre offers cycling facilities, a diving centre, canoeing, hiking excursions, and a climbing wall. Other onsite activities include tennis and volleyball courts and facilities for archery and water polo. Palma de Mallorca Airport is 30 kilometres from the hotel, approximately 40 minutes by car.
