A modern hotel with a striking tiled mural facade, the Silken Puerta Valencia is next door to the City of Arts and Sciences Museum and two kilometres from the Valencia cathedral. It has 157 air conditioned guestrooms over seven floors, which feature soft colours, light wood furniture and specially designed decorative windows. From the airport take the train to Valencia Nord station, then the metro to Amistad which is the closest station to the hotel. Frequent buses also leave from the departures terminal connecting the airport with Valencia city centre. Alternatively, taxis are available from the terminal building and a fare to the hotel will cost approximately 20 EUR. Valencia has an efficient public transport system that includes underground metro and bus services.
Driving directions: From the airport follow signs to Valencia city centre, take Avenida del Cid to the Gran Via, turning right onto the Alameda, heading towards Palau de la Musica, which leads onto Cardenal Benlloch street where the hotel is located.
