Location. The Marriott Dalmahoy hotel is located in a manor house six miles from the centre of Edinburgh, Scotland. The Scottish Agricultural Museum is two miles from the hotel, and Edinburgh Zoo is four and a half miles away. Edinburgh International Airport (EDI) is three miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The grand manor that houses the Marriott Dalmahoy hotel was built in 1725, and is surrounded by 1,000 acres of woodland. There is complimentary parking on site.
International dishes are served beneath wrought iron chandeliers at the Pentland Restaurant, which offers views over the extensive hotel grounds. Burgundy and gold decor and heavy drapes evoke the atmosphere of a baronial dining room. The Long Weekend Bar has local beers and whiskeys, international wines and international dishes for lunch and dinner.
Nine meeting rooms for up to 350 people and a business centre are available.
The Marriott Dalmahoy has two onsite 18 hole golf courses, one of which is a championship course. Guests can book a lesson from the PGA approved golf academy. There is a heated indoor pool, with natural daylight and views of the estate, onsite tennis courts and jogging trail. The hotel also has a fitness room with cardiovascular equipment and weights, spa bath, sauna and steam room, as well as a health and beauty salon.
Guestrooms. The Marriott Dalmahoy hotel's 215 guestrooms feature print wallpaper, floral and tartan fabrics, pastoral artwork and chandeliers. All rooms have satellite television, pay per view movies, minibars and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms have complimentary toiletries.

Distance to Marriott Dalmahoy is three miles, approximately eight minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Marriott Dalmahoy hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the airport (surcharge).
Getting around. The Marriott Dalmahoy hotel is six miles from central Edinburgh along the A71. Edinburgh city and the Lothian region are served by a good bus network. There are hop on, hop off stops for city bus tours throughout central Edinburgh. Black cabs are available from the streets. The historic centre's cobbled streets are best explored by foot. The hotel has onsite complimentary parking available.
Driving directions. From Edinburgh International Airport:
Join the M8 towards Edinburgh.
Exit onto the A71 to Kilmarnock.
The hotel is on the A71, west of Heriot Watt University.
