Location.The Hilton Mystic is located in historic Mystic, Conn. The hotel is three miles from downtown Mystic, where the restaurant Mystic Pizza is located. The eatery served as the setting for the 1988 film by the same name. The Mystic Seaport Museum is one half mile from the hotel and holds more than 40 acres of maritime history including 500 vessels.
Hotel Features. The on site restaurant and lounge have nautical themes. Mooring Restaurant serves breakfast daily and lunch and dinner on weekends. Windows provide a garden view. Complimentary wireless Internet access and complimentary weekday newspapers are provided. Guestroom bathrooms include Crabtree and Evelyn's La Source bath amenities. Bathrooms have deep tubs and floor to ceiling marble. Clock radios in the guestrooms have MP3 connections. A chair with ottoman provides extra sitting.
Expert Tip. The Mystic Aquarium is across the street from the Hilton Mystic. The aquarium's Institute for Exploration serves as home base for Dr. Robert Ballard. He and his team discovered the Titanic.
