Location. The Ramada Minneapolis NW Grand Rios Water Park is located in Brooklyn Park, Minn., a northern suburb of Minneapolis. The hotel is just 10 miles from downtown entertainment venues such as the Metro Dome and Target Center. Closer suburban attractions include shopping opportunities at Arbor Lakes Mall, five miles away. Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport is 25 miles away.
Hotel Features. The Grand Rios Hotel's most notable feature is its indoor water park with a slide tower, lazy river and sporting pools. The hotel also has a large arcade and game room. Several on site restaurants provide casual dining opportunities. The Beach House Bar and Grille prepares American cuisine with Caribbean flair. Alternatively, Coconut Charley's Grill offers fun foods overlooking the water park. Starbucks Coffee and homemade confections are served at the aptly named Soggy Dollar Caf�.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms are traditionally furnished with soft, tropical d�cor at the Grand Rios Hotel. Wireless Internet is accessible in all guestrooms, while most provide views of the water park or courtyard. Room service selections are available from on site restaurants.
Expert Tip. The Brooklyn Park Historical Farm, sits less than six miles from the Grand Rios Hotel and is a 10 acre living record of farm life in Minnesota at the turn of the 20th century. Here guests can walk through a re creation of the farm's physical surroundings during this time.
