Location. Located in the Capitol District, the Renaissance Providence Hotel in Providence, R.I., is adjacent to the Veterans Memorial Auditorium housing the VMA Arts & Cultural Center. The hotel is opposite the Rhode Island State House and one block from Providence Place Mall.
Hotel Features. Renovated in 2007, The Renaissance Providence Hotel was originally intended to be a Masonic temple and still retains its regal Parthenon like Ionic columns and a grand entrance constructed in the 1920s. The Temple Downtown Restaurant and Lounge serves regional food with New England flare and offers 24 hour room service. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. The on site fitness center is equipped with cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
Guestrooms. The 272 guestrooms of the Renaissance Providence Hotel provide mp3 docking stations, cable television and wireless Internet access. Guestrooms include separate sitting areas furnished with desks and in room safes. Minibars feature sweets, snacks and spirits. Bathrooms feature bathrobes and complimentary Lather toiletries.
